ASIAPHIL Manufacturing Industries, Inc.
Turn Key Electrical Projects for Commercial, Industrial & Utility Companies

In 1973, ITE World Trade Corp. Ltd. awarded Mr. Batungbacal exclusive rights as an agent and distributor of ITE's electrical and fluid power product lines in the Philippines. This development prompted Mr. Batungbacal to accelerate his own expansion plans and longterm vision for his company. Besides steering his young organization through the rigors of making a name as a quality-oriented, competent, and socially responsible enterprise, he laid the groundwork for Asiaphil's sustained growth and leadership in the industry. By 1978, the company's success showed not only in the range of the products and services it offered, but also in its increased production capacity, employee force, and financial indicators. AMII moved from an office covering 380 square meters to inaugurate a 4,100-square meter manufacturing complex. Improved capacity also enabled the company to reach clients in the provinces.
In 1980, Asiaphil marked another milestone as it formed a strategic alliance with Cutler-Hammer, a globally recognized manufacturer of electrical products. Their venture, which was then renamed Asiaphil- Cutler-Hammer, Inc., enabled technology transfer from the US-based company and boosted Asiaphil's competitive edge. Subsequently, the company also expanded into contracting. With Mr. Batungbacal at the helm, Asiaphil pushed forward as a pioneer engaged in trading, manufacturing, and contracting in the electrical industry, thus supporting efforts to bring the benefits of modernization to more areas and more industries nationwide.
As Asiaphil grew over the years, it formed several subsidiaries, with each one tasked to focus on a specific business segment and thus ensure greater efficiency, excellent quality, and prompt service delivery. Its flagship company, AMII, has retained the role of serving as electrical contractor for turnkey electrical works. It also supplies and installs substation and distribution equipment, transmission lines, service entrances, perimeter lightings, cable trays and feeder lines, and power generation equipment. An ISO-certified company for Electric Design, Contracting, and Maintenance Services, AMII is the trusted contractor and supplier of Top 1,000 corporations in the country.
